Indie Anime 'Shinsei Galverse' Has Premiered on YouTube and Docomo's d-anime Streaming Service

Director Ayaka Ōhira's visually striking sci-fi OVA featuring legendary voice actors such as Yui Horie, Mutsumi Tamura, Fairouz Ai, Kotono Mitsuishi and Akio Ōtsuka is finally live.

TOKYO - June 26, 2025 - The independent anime OVA Shinsei Galverse has premiered worldwide, launching at 9.30pm Japan time globally on YouTube, and also on Docomo's d-anime store, Japan's largest anime streaming service.

Directed by emerging creator Ayaka Ōhira, the anime features iconic Japanese voice actors like Kotono Mitsuishi (Sailor Moon), Akio Ōtsuka (Ghost in the Shell), and Ikue Ōtani (Pokémon). The trailer has received over 400,000 views on YouTube and hundreds of thousands more across Galverse's SNS channels.

Celebrating the successful premiere, a gyaru-style club event will be held at the historic Ohjo building in Shinjuku's Kabukicho district - a showa era castle. The event is open to the public and can be RSVPed to here: https://lu.ma/aijm61c7

The party will feature screenings of the anime OVA, an exhibition of hand-drawn genga (keyframe art) and more materials from the production of Galverse, as well as Tokyo's best DJs and performers - including KAMIYA performing the theme song KYOMEI VERSE live!
