a lot of people HATED the ending to Chrno Crusade, but that aside it's a good series.

Chrono Crusade is absolutely amazing in the last third. Such a wild emotional ride.

I've heard quite the opposite, actually. The people I've talked to said it was pretty dull at first, but that it picked up in the later episodes. ROD: The TV though, did have a pretty awkward ending. Not terrible, but pretty convoluted & rushed, and it's certainly a letdown after having such a strong series for the first twenty or so episodes. Still worth getting, but I personally would have liked a better resolution. |

In my humble opinion..
R.O.D has nice art and the clumsy main character grows on you after a while. Action scenes are less supernatural than Chrno Crusade. Not the magic spells kind.. mostly gun, and "paper manipulation" - which I found interesting, like a form of mutant powers. I remember Chrno Crusade to have a touching ending..sad but sweet, like a sunset. The art is not as impressive as R.O.D but nevertheless, a good story. Element I remember most.. the demon form of chrno is beautiful! *melt* |

I met a lot of people who thought Chrno Crusade was a 4 episode OAV, but after I got the next group of episodes that rumor was revoked. The series was a little dull at first, but it got so much better in the middle episodes. Personally I loved the ending, in all its' emotional heartbreak and sadness.

I shall know what Chrono Crusade is like on tuesday, along with Stellvia. I am completely stoked to start those 2 series!
After the first 2 vols of ROD TV, I can say I am thoroughly enjoying that show as well, and I like the character development and comedy in it. However one thing I notice is a lot of times the show is overly melodramatic, like when a character is hurt, the others will cry and freak out, but then again I suppose that makes it more realistic. Its just a bit annoying I suppose, but I get over it because ROD is just plain fun. If Chrono Crusade and Stellvia is anywhere near as fun as ROD TV is, I am going to love them. |

Chrno Crusade is entertaining, but if it's action you're after you should check out series like Gungrave, Berserk or Hellsing... |
