Ya.... I was quite disappointed with that anime too. I was looking forward to a blend of moe and horror but it just did not work. It wasn't a total waste of time for me though, because by watching it I discovered the opening song "Flower Psychedelic" which is now one of my fav anime songs, up there with the Classic Japanese Horror opening and the 2nd opening to GTO.
