Already a thread about it:
animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1284 And it's only two episodes and ADV said it's going to be uncut. |

It makes sense that its uncut because the first two episodes have nothing remotly objectionable that they wouldnt show on DBZ (aside from the Misato picture). Anyway we have all seen the series at least twice and have our opinnions on it so whats the point of even discussing it(not that Im helping).

Technically you are correct, It's LCL but LCL is the blood of Lilith, but in the first two episodes they can pass it off simply as "that mysterious fluid that keeps the pilots alive" LCL. Sorry if I sound like another EVA freak....because I am.... but I try not to make a point of it. |

It's too dark to tell, but yeah, LCL, Blood. Today's kid may take it as blood though. Heck, if I got hit in the head like Unit 1 did, I don't LCL well come out. |

CTN will probably do some retarded ecoloratio like in DBZ...they'll probably color it green or something. Or maybe "the magical floating bush!" |

historically (following previous CN edits) any non-red "blood" is typically acceptable to put on TV. It's only when it's red that it becomes a problem. This is because there is only a limited amount of red electrons, and each station is rationed only a small number per day. By firing few red electrons during anime shows, they can use those electrons on more important things like commercials. Betcha didn't know that. |

yea....I didn't get that at all. Why would the amount of red coloring be liited and how could it possibly affect commercialim? Thse are two different depts with wo diferent budgets....is there even a color dept? Im sorry I just dont get it.

*Wearing a lab coat.* Basically, from Dr. "Bones" from Star Trek has previously stated, Vulcans have green blood. Piccolo, being green and having pointed ears, has been shown time to time to have green blood. In simply terms, Piccolo is in fact, not a Namek, but a Green-skinned Vulcan. Thank you. |

sorry about that, it was a bad joke. the bad joke indicator was hidden by HTML code, revealed only if you quoted what i said. i don't normally invoke the smilies on this board, but: |
