Given that Botan24 wrote about watching B Gata H Kei - Yamada's First Time with a husband and doesn't live in Connecticut , Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York Rhode Island or Vermont, I'd wager on female, but I'm sure that the sentiments are appreciated regardless. Hit up a local used bookstore today and grabbed volumes 5-7 of Searching for the Full Moon, 7-9 of Shugo Chara! and volume 9 of Afterschool Nightmare for $3 a piece for $21 total. Checked online when I got home since I remembered hearing that some of the later volumes of AN go for a lot and it looks like the average price for it is $50+ online, I feel like I won the internet.

Courtesy of RightStuf I received 4 manga preorders: Only Serious About You v02, Private Teacher! V02, The Tyrant Falls in Love v05, and Secrecy of the Shivering Night. Also a Hetalia - Allies & Chibitalia magnet set which is unfortunately more decorative than functional, as the magnet sheet from which they're cut isn’t very strong. Oh you all give me too much credit!  But really, its only because I enjoyed the series so much that I'm willing to watch it with him. Plus I thought he'd get a big kick out of it.

I decided to partake in the Funimation sale. I got:
Darker Than Black Season 2 + OVAs Limited Edition Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom DVD/Blu-ray I also decided to renew my Got Anime? membership since it has been expired since November. I already own the first part of Phantom and I have not watched it yet. I decided to just buy the complete set since it is Blu-ray. If anyone is looking to buy the first part, send me a message. |

Well I should have Kimi ni Todoke - Part One that I pre-ordered back in early September on it's glorious way to me. Except that I don't. Why? Because I put it on my card. And then when my bank sent me my new card in October, I forgot I had KnT set up to be billed to my now useless old card. So I got a "You're a deadbeat and your card was denied" email from TRSI*. Now I have to call them most likely Tuesday(Monday's MLK day so they may not be open) and have them charge the new card.
*Probably not how they worded it, I was too busy weeping to really read it. |

^ I've had to call them before and change my card and it wasn't much trouble at all so don't worry about it, plus they don't cancel your order immediately so you have time to go in and change it.

Yeah, they'll give you two weeks to change the card before they cancel the order. Just send them a quick email with the order and card numbers and it'll be fine.
Ok, so I was looking over my Half.com wishlist on Friday and I noticed that volume 5 of the Utena manga had finally gone down from over $100 to a reasonable $25. So, I snatched that up along with the 4th volume (for a whopping $1) and now I will have the complete run of that manga. Also, with all the Media Blasters sets that showed up in RS's weekly specials, I couldn't resist any longer. So, I picked up Magical Girl Punie-Chan (which I saw a bit of streamed, and found it hilarious), The Girl Who Leapt Through Time (gotta start working on the Bandai backlog), and Soul Eater pt. 2. |
