Well, there is a chart but it is a little thin at this point. There may be more continuing multi kor fall show than I thought.

Neregate Winter 2012-2013 Anime Chart v. 1

Neregate Winter 2012-2013 Anime Chart v. 2

Squidoo Winter season preview

5 out of 11 are sequels and more may be coming.

But chances are at least one of those sequels is something you're looking forward to.

Winter is already looking packed for me even with that short list - Haganai, Minami-ke, Vividred, Senran Kagura and Sasami-san.

Can't wait to see what else is coming out.

WTF is going on with Minami-ke? Did someone replace their hair with balloons?

I actually think I'm gonna give Haganai 2 a look despite not being very fond of the first. It did have things I liked (Meat) and from the way it ended, I think it could only get better. I've also fallen in love with Buriki's art recently.

Sasami-san is another one I'll check out. It's an interesting sounding show by SHAFT, it'll probably be pretty good.

One not shown on the chart is OreShura, and I'm really looking forward to that.

Besides Hagani which I am hyped up for, I am definitely interested in Sasami-san. I don't recall ever watching or hearing of an anime about a girl hikkimori. And for a twist, its the brother taking care of her and not the typical sister taking care of the brother. The other 3 girls look good too. It is directed by Akiyuki Shinbo, the guy who also directed Bakemongatari, Ef, and Madoka, so it should be visually appeasing.

Well, there's almost nothing here. Like twelve shows and most of em are sequels. Hopefully we'll see some more stuff added before the actual season though. Also, From the New World and Psycho-Pass will both be continuing into the winter.

The only things here I could see watching are...

-Savanna Game. Looks decent. The whole survival game thing is getting a little tired but this one looks cool so I'll give it a look.

-Maybe Senyuu? actually looks potentially fun. The art style is pretty nice.

Also, in regards to movies, Titan Rain is still actually happening? Didn't that project get cancelled ages ago?

There is nothing on that list that I'm interested in. I didn't know that both Psycho-Pass and From the New World are going to continue, so I'm happy about that.

I am actually glad that winter season looks lacking. With so many shows from this season being two or multiple cour I already have enough on my plate (that being said I am sure that list is not final yet).

However Chihayafuru is a 100% must for me. I loved the first season, I can't wait for the 2nd.

I will be in Japan for the One Piece Movie...yay going to try to see that. Smile

So far from that chart, I'll definitely be watching:

Chihayafuru 2
Haganai season 2
Vividred Operation
Da Capo III
Hanasaku Iroha: Home Sweet Home
To Aru Majutsu no Index movie
Kizumonogatari

Probably will be watching:

Akb0048 Next Stage
Savanna Game
Sasami-san@Ganbararanai
Aruvu (assuming it will finally debut)
Star Driver movie
Blue Exorcist movie

Not sure yet:

Code:Breaker OVA

Still got mixed feelings about Winter season but a bit early to tell as for now.

TV Series:
Chihayafuru Season 2: Heck, yes! Loved season one! Fun characters, sportsmanship, love triangles, Japanese poetry: what more could I ask for!! Very Happy

Senyuu: Just a little. The character designs are a bit too simplified and the story doesn't seem too interesting. I'll give it shot.

Sasami-san@Ganbarani: Sounds rather interesting. The last (possibly only) show I saw about a hikikomori was Welcome to the N.H.K and I loved it. This seems to be more bright & colorful so I'll try it out.

Savanna Game: Only a little bit interested. Sounds like another "survival game" show.

Vividred Operation: More curious about the "island built on science" than the characters.

Train Hero: I want to try and watch every "original" anime I can so I'll try this one as well.

OVAs:
Hyoka: I should be finished with the TV series by the time the OVA comes out.

Junjo Romantica: For obvious reasons.

Films:
Blue Exorcist,
Hanasaku Iroha,
Kizumunogatari,
Star Driver
and
Hunter X Hunter: Seen/currently watching these shows so I'll watch the films.
Sakasama no Patema: The first four parts severed as the prologue for this film so, of course, I'll continue it.
Plus, it's by the same director behind Time of Eve & Pale Cocoon, Yasuhiro Yoshiura.

Savanna Game sounds fascinating. True, it's another title in the "survival game" genre, but the description has my interest peaked. Other than I have little interest in anything else. Confused

Well, besides the third Berserk movie, of course. Very Happy

Can't wait for Kizumonogatari and Sakasama no Patema, been looking forward to both for quite some time now. Definitely going to watch Sasami-san@Ganbaranai too, mostly just because it's SHAFT/Shinbo but it does sound interesting.

I am super hype for Minami-ke, poofy hair or no. That remains one of my all-time favorite feel-good nothing-happens shows, so I'm really pleased to see it coming back for another round.

I'm curious about the accuracy of this list though - I am pretty sure ANN ran a story a few months ago saying Kizumonogatari (another one I am super hype for) was pushed back into 2013 somewhere. I suppose it could still come out towards the end of winter season and be in 2013..

Any SHAFT/Shinbo show gets a watch from me, so I'll check out Sasami-san as well.

A bit underwhelming compared to Fall, but I guess this is to be expected. Possible titles of interest for me would be Minami-ke's 4th season, Savanna Game and Vividred Operation. Beyond that, other titles on this preview either don't have my interest or are sequels to anime I've yet to see.

Chihayafuru for sure; it's far too good to pass on. I'll probably give Minami-ke a shot but I'm not terribly optimistic about it. And I'm pretty excited for the Star Driver movie as well.
