I've been drawin anime for a long time....my style is anime but with a more of a Hip Hop base (not that fake 50 cent etc etc)
i just want to know what are some large american manga companies or american manga artists? |

and just incase some moderator locks this up and tells me theres another similar topic....i want to know companies that are either strictly american manga or that atleast have some respectable and big american manga

The best known studio that almost exclusively focuses on American artists is Antartic Press.

American artists seem to color everything. This is actually a turn off for me.
There was a good article in NewType this month about American artists. They've had a couple articles on the American artists. Hey, and TokyoPop released their American manga contest winners in a book recently. I almost picked it up but the sale was over so I didn't. |

tru...mangas dont look good colored...at least not the same way as over here
what did the article say?....im not close to any comicstore that sells newtype so i cant get a copy of it |
