There are some depressing part's but there is also alot of really funny comedy, and a great storyline. Full Metal Alchemist, is one of the best Anime that I have ever seen. I reccomend that you watch it, but don't take it in large doses. It could turn you off of the show for good.

I take all my anime in large doses lol, Naruto (190) 3 days, Love Hina (1 day), Chrno Crusade (2 days), I guess its a habit.

So after seeing it says may not LINK, i'm just saying that they have released the Japanese + eng sub versions on various sites, however it does say that the subs are sub par. If this does break "teh rules" please delete

Unless you're a "Japanese is OMG THE BEST EVER!", this dub has gotten a ton of acclaim. Give it a chance. I personally watched it subtitled because it wasn't airing in America yet but have heard nothing but good things about the dub. I wouldn't mind watching it dubbed except that I had just gotten used to the japanese voices for everyone, I don't like switching language tracks after watching it for the first time.

Well im not one of those, I'm just the one who takes japanese over english dubs, I mean S-cry-ed in English wasn't too bad(I forgot to change it to japanese audio+english subs after converting all 26 episodes lol), and from what I've seen on CN about FMA is good.

Yeah it is really hard to switch, but most of time you have the choice to keep with what you started on

While the big screen is great, I'm not going to pony up the money for it since I've already ordered it from The Right Stuf along with the last 3 DVDs.

Can't wait to get the movie, I'm looking forward to it!

By that last comment I just meant I usually miss out because if a dub was good, I'll listen to that without ever watching it subtitled. Likewise, if I see it subtitled first, very small chance I'll ever watch it in english.

I dont see why everyones ragging on him, since he's pretty much obviously downloading it and it's more widely available subbed than dubbed.

Wait I sort of can see why people would rag on him, but they arent doing it the right way. Oh!

Dude, downloading is illegal. And of course it's not available dubbed, it's not out yet! Duh.

And the FMA dub is very good. Vic and the rest of the cast fit their roles very well. Also, if you're seeing the film in theaters, it's obviously going to be in English, so don't act all surprised and throw a tantrum because you didn't get your precious foreign language voices. Rolling Eyes

That's a Monday. DVDs come out on Tuesday. The regular edition of the FMA movie comes out on September 12. Where'd you get your info from?

First of all, you'll be completely lost if you haven't seen the series. Also, I have no idea why you would feel depressed, and the series isn't like Love Hina at all.

Oh great, here we go.

Not to mention the fact that that's what you're supposed to do and it supporst the industry. It's not about your shelf appearance, it's about helping the industry you love.

But yeah, I guess it does look good... if you like looking a the sides of DVD cases or whatever.
