Just wondering does anyone else watch full anime episodes or movies in their heads when they are bored. I do when I'm at school and have to listen to some crappy teacher try and teach me some stuff that they don't understand themselves.

Only when I've watched a good episode recently. Otherwise the episodes don't stick in my head. More often I remember the music better than the scenes so my head usually plays anime music when I'm bored or in a certain mood. If I do play a scene from a series in my head, it tends to be one of the emotionally pivotal or musically strong scenes. Like when Ed left the Bebop and Call me, Call me was playing (yeah, I'd really grown attached to her character and my heart broke when I realized how empty the Bebop would be now ).

Yeah, I always find myself humming a song from my favorite anime, or just think about a favorite episode, or moment in anime...Also, I sometimes think of what will happen next of an anime I have yet to finish...
So yeah, I do have anime in my head...maybe too much, but the good thing is that it does not really distract from my school work, cause I have to think school before anime...or sometimes visa-versa.

I sit there bored off my ass at work and think.
"You cry when you are alone don't you, Caska?"
"Are those my last words?"
Man poor Judeu
Don't ask me why I just love Berserk and hated seeing him die

Yeah, songs stick in my head too. Especially Bebop, in which I think of the song "Rain" whenever it rains and when that hurricane comes I'm definately gonna have it in my head. Sometimes if I look out my window and think about bettering myself and that real folk blues starts playing and I just get loss in the harmony just thinking what kind of impact have I made on someone's life and how can I just make it one more day without worrying about the past and putting what I use to be and how I use to be behind me. But I feel like I can't let that part of me go for it is what makes me stronger. But enough about my petty problems. I'd have to say that the Outlaw Star Opening has been running through my head a lot lately.

Anime just seems like a lifestyle I guess. sometimes you just get that urge to think of that moment or that song that touches you and it just comes out of your head.

Same here, I spend a lot of my time thinking about what I'm going to write next in a certain fanfic... It gives me something to do since all of my classes are and hour and 20 minutes long and the teachers don't know what to do with the extra 25 minutes... I can also just sit and stare at a piece of paper that I'm writing on and not be able to write anything for hours because I have so many directions I want the story to go...
Other than fanfics and such, I only think about anime when:
A. I haven't yet seen the ending and I'm really excited to find out what the outcome is going to be.
B. I find a really enjoyable part of an anime and I just like to recall it over and over again.
C. I take a scene from an anime and change it around to see what kind of outcome comes out...
I can't really picture whole episdoes in my head... It's just easier to play out certain clips that I thought to be more enjoyable...

i have to say that i probaly think about anime 3 times more than i should. I watch scenes in my head, I hum the songs like total slaughter from that ep of trigun you remember "tooootal slaughter total slaughter, I won't leve a single man alive, la di da di dide genocide, la di da di dud an ocean of blood, let's begin the killing time." I accendeintly sang that walking the princapil and got a week of detention i also try to sing the FLCL and Bebop end theme but i can't get the words so i make some of them up . anways i also imagine fav anime character heads on my teacers' heads just to make class interesting. though it never works in math class it's so boooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring. this world is made of LOOOOOVE AND PEACE, LOVE AND PEACE, LOVE AND PEACE, LOVE AND PEACE. *pose*

They always seem to pick such catchy songs to open and close an episode. I'll be doing something and all of a sudden "tank" from bebop comes in or "Freckles" from kenshin. Then depending what song comes on I watch my favorite parts of an episode. I can never control my imagination I think it may be a marketing technique! They get you watching the series and humming the songs when you're not even in front of a tv.
