I know this question might sound stupid but i just don't know what retailers to trust so far the only online retailers i have used in the past that i can trust is right stuff, bestbuy, anime nation, and amazon. I was wondering what other retailers are good legit sites that i can look into.

I'd also like to show my support for Dvd Pacific and Deepdiscountdvd.
Both have the cheapest prices on the web. There is also Dvd Price Search which is great for finding the cheapest deals. |

Anime Castle is good too. I've been in their store, and everything is on the up-and-up with them as well.

Anime Castle are not legit.
They may sell legit domestic dvds but they also sell hong kong bootleg dvds and cds. I personally feel it's a disgrace that after all these years Anime Castle are still an affiliate on this site. I don't see any such things over Animeondvd but obviously compromises have been taken here to generate funds for the site. |

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it looks like www.deepdiscountdvd.com has been raising their prices lately. Paying $22 for a Disney-distributed Ghibli movie is one thing, but I'm seeing even common titles hitting $18+ lately. That's not nearly as deep of a discount as I'm used to seeing from them.
Here are some others that have good prices on R1 DVD's when they're having sales (animenation has most hentai at 40% off MSRP). www.rightstuf.com www.animenation.com www.amazon.com For R2 DVD's I've bought from www.yesasia.com. |

I believe that originally Anime Castle was a legit R1 store, however after they had entered a long term contract with ANN they began to sell bootlegs. So from a legal standpoint ANN must keep to their end of the contract until it ends, which I remembering hearing was coming soon. I doubt (At least I hope so) that ANN will resign a contract with AC. |

Well, they certainly weren't displaying those wares if that was the case. |
