Come to think of it, Grell really deserves his own show, doncha think?  Of course it should also feature all the other grim reapers and their trials and tribulations dealing with *drum roll* GRELL!!!

Well this was kinda a surprise for me.
I'm not a fan of the 2nd season but I sure hope they adapt parts of the manga like the spoiler[Noah's Ark arc]. |

I never could get past the 2nd episode and IMO the manga isn't any better.

i always thought that the series would have a new anime series considering ho popular it is but that it would be a reboot since the orginal already deviated so much and ended with a closure.
when the first series was made only 4 volumes were released so they didit have much to adapt but with 18 volumes now released they dont have that excused bottom line i am almost certain this will be a brotherhood treatment anime, a lot of series seem to be getting this treatment lately |

I'm glad the precised it was an anime series, because then it could just have been an OVA or a movie. |

I doubt it will be a reboot because although it did very good in BD/DVD sales, those numbers do not seem enough to justify the huge expense of making a 50+ episodes series that adapts the whole manga. I would not mind seeing a continuation of season two, spoiler[perhaps they might be able to somehow "fix" the ending of it] and adapt two or three arcs from the manga. hehh.... not sure if I'm very happy about it...
didn't liked the way the first season ended and the whole second season was a big wtf but I suppose I'll watch it anyways, I just hope this time they follow the manga... |

Ooh, this makes me curious if its a reboot considering how season 2 ended and how off-track season 1 from the anime differed from the manga.
...I hope its a reboot; there are SOO many awesome story arcs that haven't been animated and I would LOVE to see them. I would fan-die to see the whole arc with the cruise ship. Cause spoiler[I f'ing love Undertaker and his total bad-assery even though he is a villain]. |
