I like Right Stuf's K.O. Beast but I never EVER seem to see anybody talking about it! Has anyone heard about it? Does anyone own it? Any fans? Please reply.

I saw the first couple of episodes of K.O. Beast from the anime preview disk that comes with Newtype USA magazine. It's seems interesting (it was funny), but I have yet to check out the rest of the series. You just reminded me of that actually.

It's really really funny, I swear. It's a good show. It has every once in a while an "american" made joke in it, but it's still hilarious. (i didn't really mind that much). You should check it out. And watch for all the pointless flip offs...theyre random and funny and of vast ammounts. hahah... well.. later!

I've known about KO 'Century' Beast for a long time now, thanks to my two evil online Akahori fan friends who also liked Itoh alot as well and convinced me to see 'it'.
I first ran into it via fansubs, loved it to death, and went crazy as soon as Right Stuf announced the license. I was like that for a year before the DVDs came out. I'm still ashamed of bugging Anime Nation's John of what ever date Right Stuf was going to release the DVDs to the OAV. I'm happy with my DVDs now, but I still need to get the third one. I'll get it along with the Firefly DVD set this Christmas, I hope. I've been looking for other KO Beast fans, so I'm gald that new ones are popping up due the DVDs being released. Also, it's and old site, but: If you can, Mike Pepe (who even visited Itoh in Japan) has a site on Project B.4.'s KO Century Beast. You might even find Pokarin's (one of my evil friends) Akahori site as well which has info on KO Beast in her website. Oh, what the heck, here's the links: http://doki-doki.net/kobeast/ http://www.nowanchatte.net/ http://www.hunters-guild.org/ko/index.html |
