Does this show have what it takes to match the juggernaut that is Love Live! ?

kirari, kanako & rin = good news
no kurumi, no fumika, no sanae, no takumi & no airi (at least not in the maincast) = bad news

We have just seen the confirmation of the impossible with the simulcast, now A-1 needs to go beyond the impossible and have a licensed BD/DVD release and not at $500-$1000 either.

I would love to get a better-invested story behind the only mobile game I keep up with daily. Love Live! was great and something of at least that caliber would be perfect. It's just... even as a fan of fictional idol groups, I still haven't had faith in emotionally-engaging idol anime aside from the small handful that are out there that are somewhat engaging.

I know not much about Idolm@ster but I really like Ranko for some reason and she is my only expectation for this series.
Other than that I would really like to see Namco to give it a try at localizing one of the PS3 games.
