The characters and atmosphere seem to my liking, but the pimp egg threw me off. We will see how good this movie is.

Takumi looks like an older, glasses-less Kaito (AnoNatsu)

Seems like music will play an important role. I love music anime

So the egg zipped her lips. I'm going take a wild guess here: the friends around her slowly gets her to speak. And that will coincide with the egg hatching at the end of the movie, to symbolize her breaking out of her shell or a rebirth so to speak. I could be totally wrong of course Razz

She can't talk?! That is a eggtremely bad problem. Her life must be a scrambled mess. Maybe she sees life sunny side up.

Looks like they are spending a lot on the backgrounds. I wonder if the animation will suffer part way through.

Let me guess, the egg is possessed by a childhood friend who died? MC, who was there friend, turned their back on them and bullied them. Then, said friend dies in an accident, and the MC has regretted it ever since, vowing to not speak.

This looks like it's going to be an easy to watch with an emotional roller coaster heading towards the end. I'm excited to see this, animation looks beautiful and music should be glorious.

I don't find any attractiveness in the egg spirit, nor do I feel that it was necessary for them to add an egg spirit to the film just to make the girl not able to speak. They easily could have had the girl become an introvert. I feel that element of blatant fantasy does not really match the tone of this film.

This looks really interesting. Definitely interested in seeing more info on the film. Also, did the egg briefly remind anyone of Humpty Dumpty?

It's an old public domain folk song. I can't remember the name but lots of music boxes use it.

Well, the movie comes from the anohana team, it's kind of difficult to not have some fantasy in there. I do hope there is a good explanation of that egg.
