I WAS LITERALLY JUST TALKING ABOUT THIS WITH MY FRIEND.

Then we threw away the idea because we thought the chances were low. This is the greatest news I've read all day.

nice D-gray.man was the last series I expected to make an anime comeback, and awkward moment when you find out that the seiyuu of Mysterious Joker is going to be Allen

Well, this is going to be really weird to listen to. Wonder why they didn't bring the old cast back.

I am thankful for this, though. The manga reached a point where I was having a hard time following what was happening (long waits between chapters didn't help) so hopefully it'll be easier to follow in animation.

It always annoyed me that Funimation never finished releasing the first series. Hopefully this series can be what "Brotherhood" was to FMA and get a full DVD release.

Holy shit hoooleeee sheeeet

If there's an announcement I never expected it's definitely got to be this one. How long has it been, ten years or so? I'm up to date with the manga and have no bleeping clue of what's supposed to be happening right now, so it'll be nice to go back to simpler times.

Not too excited about the casting change. I hope Takahiro Sakurai does reprise his role as Kanda, I just can't imagine him with a different voice, and since this will be a Kanda-centric arc I need Sakurai on board.

Shocked Totally didn't see that coming. Out of all the manga to get a Brotherhood reboot, I only dreamed that D. Gray Man would either have the manga finished or a relaunch. I don't mind the change since Allen always had a feminine voice (or whiny in Funimation dub) but, it seems the reboot will go farther into the manga around the time I dropped the series. Sweet, get someone other than TMS like J.C. Staff and I'll check it out.

Also, I really hope Katsura Hoshino is okay. I don't follow her Twitter but I wish her good health.

I don't care if this is a reboot or continuation, but this is big. Never though my beloved D.Gray-man would ever continue~

Seems like reboots of old manga in anime form are the popular thing these days. Maybe we can get a remake of some more things on my "needs an anime adaptation" list. (Looking at you, Gash Bell, Tsukihime, I Am a Hero, Fort of the Apocalypse, Berserk, Soul Eater...)
