...or you could, you know, just buy the volumes when they come out to reward yourself for passing all those exams.

This is a good move in my opinion because it promotes education with a medium that a great percent of kids really enjoy.

Well, isn't that the basic idea?:
| Quote: | | In order to be eligible, applicants must have taken an entrance exam to a high school, college, or specialty school in 2016. (They need to prove it with copies of or scans from their exam admissions tickets.) |

An awesome way to encourage reading among the impressionable youth: a year's worth of a Shōnen Jump manga.

Yes, a nice idea, but they're pretty stingy. A lottery with five winners for a digital reward that doesn't cost Shueisha anything? Well, at least the digital quality should be better than the real paper magazines.

Well it's a good idea but couldn't they have just bought the issues when they were studying for their exams and read them after they take the exams.

Yeah, I'm also thinking that this is pretty stingy of them. Five out of likely thousands of applicants? From the title, I thought they were giving them away for free to anyone studying for an exam. I mean, it's a good idea, but they need to expand it to a lot more winners.
