- Obari used a track from the Build Fighters OST as entrance music for his wedding. https://twitter.com/G1_BARI/status/798190759044214784 - This is his second marriage, after divorced with Atsuko Ishida. - The age gap between Obari and his bride is 27 years old. Even The Fatal Fury: Legend of the Hungry Wolf OVA is older than his bride. - Atsuko Ishida wrote a manga titled "Rikon Neko" about her divorce with Masami Obari. This manga, apparently Obari gave her permission to write about it, so it's not like she's airing dirty laundry against his will*. Actually the manga opens with Obari running to the hospital to see their dying cat 7 years after their divorce**. |
