Haven't been paying attention then. It was confirmed to have a s2 before S1 even aired.
Shame that twitter campaign is limited to Japan.

I have a feeling Funi will do a broadcast dub with this. Should that be the case, I like hearing Alexis Tipton in anime (I think her voice is very ideal for harem anime).

They did a broadcast dub with Season 1, so unless it did poorly, they'll likely repeat it for S2.
What interests me more, though, is the contents of the S1 BD box in Japan. The 2 discs for the series are the broadcast versions, and it's the bonus disc that has the screening versions of 5 and 6 (the Berseria episodes) which had additional content (that's why we got the Zesty and Berseria game OPs as filler). Makes me wonder what that additional content was, if it's only deemed to be bonus material. Additionally, it includes the Dawn of the Shepherd special that aired prior to the game's release in Japan, and was only available in the US with the expensive CE. I'm hoping FUNi can get both the theatrical episodes as well as the special for the US release.

I get the feeling the anime will spoils berseria more this time since the game is already out in Japan for quite a while

so is Alisha staying with the party unlike in the game? that would make the people who complained happy hopefully at some point Ufotable can do an adaptation of a better Tales game like Xillia or even Graces as Zesteria was a little hard to get into imo

not quite. considering how the anime version of blazeblue ended, i wouldnt have been surprised if this series had ended that way. though it would basically would mean the entire series was more or less a glorified ad promotion for the video game, just like what ep 5 & 6 was. a massive ad promo for the berseria game. especially since both berseria and zestiria now have PS4 version instead of just only a PS3 exclusive.
