I think he means that because all the trouble that went through with its production. He's talking about Genocidal Organ, by the way.

I do wonder about how well it fared in the box office.

Gyakusatsu Kikan is a new title and SAO is already pretty famous so that's why it can received a higher debut on the chart.

This, a million times this.
I guess Japanese otaku are far more interested in their waifu pandering crap than in some serious, mature sci-fi. Rolling Eyes

Because a random English-speaking poster didn't care for the SAO TV series, so the world should cater to their every whim.

In other words, it's more idiocy from people who don't like SAO and want the entire world to know such. The hate circle-jerking still exists. Just saying.

It's like this with anything in general. How many people see the same film release by marvel over and over compared to stuff like ex machina?

Nah, its just that hating on SAO happens so much its like beating a dead horse. Whenever SAO is brought up in places, first reactions to the topic of conversation is to say something negative about it. It's like a running meme that caught on and just won't go away.

Not saying that anyone here tried to do this in this thread specifically.

Personally, I have my ticket already for the movie's release here in the States. Link... START!

Yep, and then fans rush to defend it but the haters won't quit and the fans won't quit either because we're all equally stubborn so everyone is stuck in this hellish loop of "different opinions on SAO can't be okay".

You might say.......

It's the SAOng that doesn't end!!!

I come to these threads to laugh at the hatedom, and I hate SAO, really, the hater levels remind me of Star Wars Prequel haters. Of course a new movie that's part of a very popular franchise is going to be #1 at the box office.

I get disliking an anime, I really do, but not wanting it to do well at the box office because you hate is ridiculous levels of petty!

That won't ever happen because

1. The mods are too good at their jobs here
2. The majority of posters know how to be civil even when they disagree with others.
3. Trolls get kicked out REALLY quickly.

Well, that's good. This SAO hating trend is annoying, to say the least.
