This is amazing. Kemono Friends is probably one of the most surprising sleeper hits in recent history. The penguin episode was cute.
Also, I am happy that BanG Dream is catching up. I hope that it will be successful like Kemono and eventually K-On and Love Live. |

I watched this anime.
How can grown adult watch this anime late at nite... This anime definitely fits-in in Disney Junior channel

I tried to watch this show but dropped it after 1 episode. Maybe it's my inner anime CG hater inside but I thought it was pretty boring.
Well, guess it figures since the shows I don't like always end up doing really well... and CG in anime is just scares me away. Well, at least it's not awful as Hand Shakers... almost. |

It's great: Cute (animal) girls doing cute things; quirky characters that all have some visual or behavior touch that makes you grin (check out the singing crested Ibis near the beginning); a quest through a land that is entirely a mystery; hints that it was made by man and is now in decay—was there an apocalypse? Best of all, all the Friends are Nice to each other, in the midst of this BIG MYSTERY. Who wouldn't love this?

I wonder if the Western anime fanbase could ever match the Japanese' enthusiasm of the show.
It's kind of funny every time I see the term "Friends" used by the fandom, I conjured up some weird evil cult this show has formed.
