WTHX-On! Darn. I knew it was going to happen. Well, bright side is more 9nine. Don't screw that up.

Please no. It would take an overhaul of the entire style to prevent it from being the pain it was.

With the way the series had left off, I had a feeling this would happen. I agree that it had issues, but I found it to be ok overall, so I’m a little curious as to how exactly they will tackle the next part of the story. I hope that maybe this time, they can try to fix at least some of the series’ issues to make it more cohesive and less hard to follow.

I still believe the first season could be salvaged with an extensive re-edit of footage and redone dialogue to make it into a couple movies. It had too many awkwardly drawn out moments attempting to stretch out content to a full episode while also keeping up the art style, and could easily use some trimming to make it a bit more dynamic.

Before the show even premiered, I figured it was meant to last more than one season because of the "Wave One" in the title, so I wasn't surprised to see it end on a cliffhanger. Honestly, I was very disappointed with the show's pedestrian writing and lazy animation, but I would come back for some more Trevor Horn music.

I mean, it was alright but not really worth a sequel. Was this even that popular in Japan?

Well, I'm actually very happy to hear this. I mean, sure, the series had its issues but at least it tried something different and it looked unique, which is much more than you can say for any given otaku pandering crap that floods the anime industry nowadays...

I'll watch it! I want more of X-On's backstory, and I really liked most of the characters. Bring it on!
