It's better they take their time in making this than to rush it immediately but with mediocre results. Especially from Actas, whose notorious with production delays with the GuP TV series, Regalia, and Long Riders.

2017-12-09 (Japan, Part 1) 2019-06-15 (Japan, Part 2) and 1st Girls & Panzer Finale Film Listed as 47 Minutes Long If these were full length movies then I could appreciate taking a year and a half between segments but for "films" equal to double episodes, I figured every six months would have been a doable goal- even for Actas. So when I heard that the finale was going to be a series of mini movies, I must have missed the part where they said it was going to be completed in about a decade. That's some Evangelion level scheduling right there... |

I can understand your point a bit. Though that’s what they want to do with Das Finale. Besides that, Tsutomu Mizushima seems not focusing all his time solely on Das Finale since he’s doing other projects like The Magnificent Kotobuki and possibly the Shirobako movie.

I've been expecting it to finish around 2024-2025 for long enough that I'm fine with the schedule, as long as it doesn't end up taking much longer than that.

Are they screening these in the US? I saw Der Film in theaters but haven't heard about the first Finale film being in theaters.

Nope. It might take a long, long while for Das Finale to be released in the US if Sentai Filmworks would want to wait for it to finish all 6 parts. |
