My last name is really similar to my username. I use it because it sounds german, and some german names sound cool. Also, it's a play off of 'Lavitz', from Legend of Dragoon.

Cuprin was my primary Character in Everquest for about six years. Most of the boards I was active at the time were EQ related, so I used the name a lot. After awhile, it got easier to just keep it for everything (less names to remember).

That's interesting. All this time I thought it was the definition OF microsoft

| Quote: | | This post only leaves me with more questions than answers. Favorite anime is one thing, even favorite food, seasons, and colors are all well understood and accepted, but what the heck is a favorite number and how did either of you come to such esoteric conclusions? What makes one number any better or worse than any other number? |
Well, what makes any color better than another color? I'm not saying that 17 or 0 are better than any other number, it's more like saying that 17 is my lucky number. Many people have a favorite/lucky number. Almost everytime I do something that deals with choosing a number, I have always had good results by choosing 17. Usually people connect something with a good experience, thus making it one of their favorites. I cannot tell you why the lead singer of H.I.M, Ville Valo, would choose 0 as his favorite number. Though, I can kind of understand, it is frequently left out as if it doesn't exist, yet it is an important character with many uses.

My user name originates when I was actively thinking of an alternate name I could use for a character in an MMO I used to play (Planetside). After giving it some thought I chose Isikari due to the EQ race the Iskar. I've never played EQ, but it sounded cool. To prevent being labeled an EQ fanboy in every forum/game I joined, I modified it slightly. I think I'm going on my third year of using it.

My user name is based off of the character Nao Yuuki from the awesome anime My(Mai)- Hime. She is my all time favorite character from the show because of her bitchy exterior , so her name is the root to almost all of my online names.

Im going to ressurect this.
My user name is my own original creation, i believe that I may have been inspired to create it after I finished David Eddings Beligrad & Mallorean series for the first time. I've used it on multiple servers/website/games/forums/email. I originally created him for the book that I never finished writing. Alestal, was a high elf priest.

Every time I go to the library, I do two things:
1) check out mangas if they have what I want
and 2) raid their selection of classical music.
the first half comes from adoring classical music and the second half comes from the end of 'mechazawa' from Cromartie High School. Its my favorite pure comedy anime/manga and mechazawa is so pointlessly cool.

Chichiri because, Chichiri is my all time favorite character and he always end his sentence with "No Da" which literal translation of "You Know".

Should actually be El-ahrairah, but I use this user name on lots of forums, etc and some don't allow for the hyphen, so I always leave it out.
Prince of Rabbits from the book (and animated movie) Watership Down by Richard Adams.... |
another excellent book and from my childhood...
I just couldn't let seeing two on the same page pass without comment

Well, my username is somehow connected to my favorite band...L'Arc~en~Ciel. In French L'Arc~en~Ciel literally means "the arc in the sky" or in other words "Rainbow"....thus my username. I added crescent for no particular reason. I just feel like adding the word "crescent" to "rainbow".
Anyway, my username is kinda special to me because it symbolizes the no.1 band (and the hottest band!)...

Ah. My username is a product of one of the few occasions I've taken a name I liked the sound of without really looking into it. I thought it appropriate and harmless to choose a word with a link to Virgo (my star sign). I didn't know the 'goddess of justice' bit. Which unintentionally makes me sound rather pretentious. Oops.

Ctimene's Lover is from the 15th book of the Odyssey. The younger sister of Odysseus, she grew up with Odysseus swine herder, Eumaeus (for those that don't know this term, it means he tended to his pigs). But it was revealed she married a prince of the Greek island of Samos. I took my love of Greek mythology to my username. Astraea, huh! Astraea was the Virgo constellation (my sign too). But some identify the Virgo woman as the similar justice goddess, Dike. Yes, the same name as an offensive lesbian term

My username...I got out of a restaurant menu from a restaurant I went to one day.
As you can see, the actual word is squid misspelled with a 'p'. Everything in the restaurant's menu that had squid in its name spelled the word as 'spuid'.
It made me laugh so hard that day that I decided it to make it a username

I thought I'd replied to this but couldn't find it, so here goes:
Riccardo has been my nickname for a while, I use it on most of the forums I'm on (except when its unavailable). It all came about when a group of friends and I were playing Indoor Soccer, and, as my name is Ric, they decided to follow the pattern of Brazilian soccer players like Ronaldo, Ronaldhinio, Rivaldo, etc and I was re-christened Riccardo - the indoor soccer superstar (probably becauise I was so lousy at it! )
I've used the nickname ever since.
