Didn’t Tokyopop announce - right in the middle of the Masterpiece release, even - that they would release a hardcover edition of Aria later on? Did they walk back on that later? I remember some people complaining that Tokyopop should focus on finishing the current Masterpiece release before even thinking of advertising a hardcover edition.

FYI preorders with Right Stuf only charge when the item ships. I posted about this on r/manga to see if I could also drum up some more preorders from there. |

If only they were printing the title on the last volume this time... for the most part I really like the current Tokyopop, but why did they do that? It seemed like it was a printing error at first, but then they acted like it was intentional, even though it looks really weird.
But then again, if they're not fixing it, as the picture implies, that's kind of a good thing, because I don't really want to have to pay TRSI shipping for one manga volume |

You are right, they did omit the title from the front cover of the last volume. That is not a large error, (and it clearly is an error) since I didn't even notice until I got my copies out just now. Since they haven't done the reprint yet, you will have to wait to see if it is corrected. What they show in the graphics is clearly just the current version. What bothers me is that there are so many people out there that didn't get it the first time it came out. It hasn't been that long and it wasn't hard to get at all. |
