Not a fan of Scott Pilgrim, but this is a perfect companion game to Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game (in case if any of you have forgotten about the game).

New Scott Pilgrim game!? Yes please!
I wonder if the 7 playable characters will be the same roster as the last one? |

Neither the comic nor the game are made in Japan so.. why is this being reported, exactly? Just because it got a Japanese animated show one time? Is Scott Pilgrim now ANN approved?

The book’s creator is half Asian. And was inspired to write and draw the book from having read Ranma 1/2 along with the works of other artists
Also if you spent any length of time on here you’d know that ANN doesn’t exclusively report on news from Japan, Anime, or Manga. But of course why reconcile that when we can can beat the dead horse of “How is this anime?” That often crops up here. |

Uh, you're aware that AniDB, and Anilist has identified Scott Pilgrim Takes Off as anime and counted it in their database (Myanimelist/MAL is another story). If you're thinking that doesn't count as anime. Then what if I told you that Catwoman: Hunted even though it was animated by a Japanese studio, and directed by a Japanese director isn't classified as anime meanwhile other DC Comic animation that was animated in Japan like Suicide Squad Isekai, and Batman: Ninja are classified as anime. If you want to go down that road, I'm up for a debate on there. |
