Is it the Planet of the Apes anime that Imaishi said he wanted to make, or is it more likely to be something completely original?

Every indicator has this being an original production with an original script. Which is funny only because everyone had hopes/predictions it would be some sort of IP (with the wishlist ranging from Choujin X to Ultimate Exorcist Kyoshi to Transformers) , but I think deep down everyone knew it would be an original. |

It’s been a common wish, but like I said before, I think deep down everyone knew that Trigger’s big flagship project was going to be an original concept, not an adaptation. Unfortunately that also means that the Energon Universe show will likely be animated by Skybound Animation, a studio so terrible that their animation fails likely cost Invincible an Emmy nomination. |
