Do Manga Entertainment really still have the license for Violence Jack or has it expired?
The ANN entries lists it as licensed but it's never seen a dvd release in the US and the old UK dub only release is long out of print. anime#768 |

It's only three years since Manga UK last released it on DVD so it wouldn't surprise me if they still have the rights. Not sure about its US status though. |

I agree with Yubnk0079, they used to also list it on their insert cards for their old dvd releases.
I think it's very likely to have expired. I've tried to get a confirmation from Manga but they don't respond to their emails. |

Both the licenses of Violence Jack 1 and 2 has now been marked as "expired."
