Honestly, it's hard to believe (for the reasons I recently outlined in Answerman), but if its true, well hey, that's awesome. Do you think it would be possible for your friend to talk to me? Even if he doesn't want any details to be made public (or isn't allowed to have any details made public) I'd love to know about some of the more general aspects. For example, did he submit it in Japanese or in English, did it include any art or just a written script, did he merely mail it in or did he have an agent, etc etc etc.... I suspect that you're going to get a lot of disbelieving replies here, but as I said above, if its true, it really is awesome and I'm happy for your friend. Wow. So your friend had his script approved huh? That's a rather amazing feat compared to my boring everyday life.
Can you give us any details on what the script is about? Do you know what company? Is your friend involved in anime firsthand? You don't have to answer those if you don't want to, but it just seems cool have something like that happen. Good luck to your friend in the future.

If your friend got a script approved for a Japanese company, well that's pretty cool. Could you give a basic summary for the script? What company was it? What's the genre? Any idea as to when it'll probably come out?
