Finally they're doing an Anime Legends collection of Eureka Seven. I look forward to getting hold of a copy of it. I'll probably get hold of Gurren Lagaan as well once all of it is out.

Looking forward to finally picking up Eureka Seven, and might look into getting Kurokami as well.

Kurokami has to be a record for TV to DVD, and that should help it tremendously for those who cared (I didn't). Shame that it was that anime really. And about time on a E7 boxset.

Kurokami was the series that they started creating the dub for off of the pencil test animations so they could debut the series in the USA and Japan at the same time. Even if the US debut was on a channel barely anyone gets. I think its one of Bandai's attempts to combat fansubbing by making the series available in some way in the US as quickly as possible. In my opinion it is a lot better than how they rushed out sub only DVDs of Gurren Lagaan only to go back and put out bi-lingual DVDs as well.

I like Kurokami, it's not fantastic but it's decent and I will almost certainly pick it up when it comes out or pre-order it, particularly if there is a sale.

I hate to say this, but it looks like Best Buy won't be getting the GL. I looked it up yesterday, and it came up with an on website only thing. It sucks, I want this series.

I will be picking up Eureka seven tho.

Ahem, I have a multiple part question. A) Who has seen Sword of the Stranger? 2) Was it good? D) Is it worth getting on Blu-ray?

Until I saw the CG character animation, I was actually interested in this title.

I'll pre order GL Part 3 once the Bandai sale at TRSI comes around (I have a feeling it may either be next or the one after the next one since I think Del-Ray could be next.)

I think it was a good movie to watch once in the best possible way. After that there's not really a lot of material to warrant it being a good movie to watch multiple times, except maybe select action sequences. If you can rent the BluRay, do that.

I had seen a fansub around May, but when it did that one night theater thing I also did that as well, and I'm pretty sure I'll never need to see it again now.

I'd like to add that unlike Bandai's release of GITS 2: Innocence, the Blu-ray version for Sword of the Stranger reportedly will have a True HD track for both the Japanese and English versions. Along with some great extras like "interactive menus"! Shocked
