I'll repeat what I said before: I want at least some of the cops from Tokyo to still be in. They're not on the character list at the website - but neither is Yin, and clearly she's in it, given the promo art, so I still have hope.

I'll be very surprised if they don't at least bring back Misaki. And yeah, if Yin isn't even on the official character list yet, she still has fine odds of showing up in my opinion. Ditto for the rest of the Public Security crew.

Let's not forget that Hei, on season 1, spoiler[decided to protect the Hell's Gate], so I doubt this season is gonna be entirely in Russia. It would be really weird after the great work they did on season 1, which was just 2 years ago, for them to mess up on the season 2 (like leaving Misaki aside). I really doubt they'd screw the second season like The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya did.

The anime ain't even out yet to make that judgement. The trailer might've been based on a few episodes (not surprisingly) and as a fan of Darker than Black I didn't get annoyed at all. |

Yeah, for all we know, it'll follow the first season's format, and these are the characters for the first two-episode arc, and they'll all get killed off. Trailers can play it pretty close to the chest. Update! Um, I'm not sure those all/any of those are from the second series: spoiler[the director looks pretty comfortable in that last screen shot, having previously been arrested.] Of course it has been two years, so things can happen I guess... |
