Uh, that was just the original opening to The Second Runner with the "HD Collection" title at the end. No new Sunrise stuff here, just the old Gonzo stuff.
That's all good with me, though. I love this opening so much and I like it a hell of a lot more than the new one. |

While HD Jehuty looks awesome as all get out, I'm bummed that we didn't get new animation for the cutscenes. Oh well, still gonna pick this up as soon as possible.

@TJ_Kat: Well if you're really into anime and like the anime aesthetic in games, for one thing.... well, the PS3's a natural choice by this point, with its set of current & upcoming rpgs. Don't forget that delicious blu-ray for all the more recent anime releases. Also, free playstation network connection and more exclusives than the 360. Woot.
Anyway, really? There are actually going to be new cutscenes within The Second Runner itself, and not a mere anime opening for the entire set? (I believe the U.S. is still getting that new Sunrise opening, but it'll just be for when you start up the disc, before you get to the options menu of what specific ZOE title you want to play.) And more gameplay as well? Sweet... this will probably be on my radar a little more, since I already have ZOE 2. I'm also happy that Konami seems to have kept the original (and better edited) opening for ZOE 2. |
