So, it's meant to teach kids. That's why it sucks as an entertainment method.

Haven't seen it, but series composition is by Arakawa Naruhisa, who has written for some pretty decent shows like Spice and Wolf, Nadesico, and even Kamen Rider Kuuga. So if it is really that boring (even as a kid's show), tjat would be disappointing.

This anime does make you learn a "little" bit of the elements. It even shows some tidbit formulas at the end of each episode. Their way of remembering the Periodic Table is through by song... Our way, we just gotta remember it one by one Anime hyper

Actually, this show gets better in the later half of the series starting with episode 13,it gets off to a real rocky start at first,to tell you the truth, this show actually has some good deep character development and is far by one of the better kids shows compared to most crap we've been getting lately such as Bakugan or dinosaur king.

This anime is like Disney's Spectrobes games meets digimon.
