Japanese-Korean sci-fi anime aimed at teaching chemistry to children

The first DVD of Elementhunters anime series will include the pilot version of the anime as a bonus extra when it ships in Japan on March 3. The joint Japanese/Korean production is a science-fiction adventure aimed at teaching chemical elements to children. It premiered in Japan last July and is still running on the public television channel NHK-Educational. Kazunori Itō (.hack//SIGN, Magical Angel Creamy Mami) created the concept, and Yoshiaki Okumura (Antique Bakery, Bakkyuu HIT! Crash Bedaman) and Han-Pyo Hong are directing the anime.
