Not me. The first Gundam I ever saw was 0083. And while I still greatly admire its animation, stylish direction and overall production values, I fully acknowledge how embarrassingly written it is at times. Kou Uraki and Nina Purpleton are like two preschoolers pretending to play war. It gets worse as the series goes on. The love triangle is also seriously contrived...it's obvious that it was thrown in there midway through the series without any thought to how it would affect how people saw the first half of it. Having a new writing staff midway through the series is no excuse. |
