Rumiko Takahashi is one of my favorite authors of all time! InuYasha is what really brought me into the world of anime (aside from the childhood obsession with Pokemon!). We even share a birthday! Congrats of your 40th Anniversary Takahashi-sensei! Also, when is the next RIN-NE coming out?!

Rumiko Takahashi will go down as one of the most successful manga artists of all time. Right up there with Akira Toriyama, imo. Great career.

BTW, does anyone else have a bunch of Rumiko Takahashi Collection trading cards waiting to be swapped? These came out in (IIRC) 1996 and are just gorgeous. Maison Ikkoku, Urusei Yatsura and Ranma 1/2 are the featured series since Inu-Yasha wasn't animated yet (I forget when the manga first came out).
