Has anyone got any word from Kentaro Miura (Berserk creator) or Shinkai Makato (5cm per Second creator) ???? I couldn't find their names on the list and still worried I'm doing what I could from my country yet the aftermath of the events are terribly great...

I noticed a few posts about how we should but concerned about more than our favorite artists, but i think this is such a good thing. Japan has had such an influence on us, and manga is such a beautiful art. I'm so happy to see that so many artists are okay and that the fans care so much. I hope that manga and all of these artist pull through and make japan even greater than it already is. And my heart goes out to all of the other japanese people, I pray that they are safe and will find the help that they need to rebuild. People can only become stronger.

Not sure if this is helpful, but Capcom, via Capcom-Unity, has said that Capcom Japan are alright. http://www.capcom-unity.com/snow_infernus/blog/2011/03/11/thank_you_for_your_kind_thoughts In addition, so are the staff working on Mega Man Legends 3 (via the DevRoom), who are obviously a part of Capcom.

I'm starting to get really worried about the whereabouts of Sorachi Hideaki and Oogure Ito "Oh! Great" 'cause I haven't heard anything so far - especially considering that Ito-sensei's hometown Hyūga (Miyazaki) is an area close to a beach.
Hoping and praying not only for their safety, but everyone who's involved into this devasting tragedy. |

I haven't seen it reported on the page yet, but Good Smile Company checked in on the day of the quake via Mikatan's Japanese blog. They're offices got rocked, but no major damage or injuries.
Also saw on the Mandarake English site that their stores only suffered minor damage (mainly displays falling over), but they're planning to continue running the webstore as normal. Pretty lucky considering how wide spread their locations are. It's a smaller, though popular, store, but Nihonju's owner reported that he and his family are fine and they didn't lose anything in the disaster. Emerje |

Still no information about Syun Matsuena, or Ashika Sakura? I haven't heard anything about Syn ever since the earthquake started. I also hope that everyone else in Japan is pulling through, I'm praying for them every night.
