There are many kanji combinations fit those pronunciations/romanizations, but I can see you were asking for non-human, supernatural creatures in Japanese folktales. Not exactly the best place to ask this question, though. Anime smile + sweatdrop

oyuki: おゆき, the name of 雪姫 (snow queen/princess)
kappa: 河童
oni: 鬼
kitsune: 狐
tengu: 天狗

I'd like to give you the fishing pole, in case you need more fish:

btw, how do you make kanji appear on posts? every time i post on forums the kanji text turns into things like %45$@

wait, lemme experiment... : 『鋼の錬金術師』

EDIT: neeevvveerrmind.

i guess ANN lets us do that...

hmm.. for some reason this doesn't work on other forums , even if i can see other poeple type it out...

Not all sites/forums have the correct encoding to display Japanese text. A site like ANN, it's kinda necessary to have it. ;p

I noticed that a lot of kanji seen on certain websites are pictures, .jpg images. They look like part of the text but you can't save text as a picture.

This is usually because the maker(s) of the site have sacrificed usability (i.e. the ability to cut-and-paste as text) for accessibility (i.e. even folks with no Japanese fonts installed can see the kanji/kana).

Invisionfree - one of the most popular free forum services, doesn't allow anything other than English. Its kind of a shame, because its one of the better forum services out there.
