As I feared, I'm getting hooked on the Portrait of Pirates line of One Piece figures. I just bought two more, both of them of Nami. I got the Lawson Limited Edition Strong World version, and the limited edition pink bikini version one. I just wish I had gotten into these when they were coming out. The markup on some of them is a bit steep.

OOP-mania continues: Looking over the half.com wishlist today, I saw a $24 copy of the Gunsmith Cats OVA. Needless to say, I snatched that up almost instantly.

Caved and picked up the two Tsubasa Chronicle TV Blurays since it looks like they're going OOP.
Also grabbed 5 volumes of Bakuman, which catches me up on what's in print, and the entire run of xxxHolic. There's no telling how many I'll actually get since most of the volumes are "We'll Get It For You!" on RightStuf, but I love the series and figured I'd lock in the sale price for whenever they get more. |

I got my House of Five Leaves DVD. This is, simply put, the most beautiful packaging of any anime I own. NISA is seriously awesome.
I also got my Baccano BD box. Honestly...this probably wasn't worth $55. It's...fine I guess. It's really just two standard BD cases inside a soft cardboard case. The only thing that makes this a "limited edition" is the label they've slapped on it that says "limited edition". Oh well. I do want to have the series on BD even if I'm stuck overpaying. Also got First Squad, Trigun: Badlands Rumble, and Gasaraki. |

Would you guys believe me if I told you I STILL DON'T HAVE MY DEEPDISCOUNT ORDER FROM BLACK FRIDAY? I don't care if these guys offer me dvds for one cent, I am NEVER ordering from them again. This is the worst experience I've ever had. The rest of my stuff was supposed to have shipped in early January and I gave it plenty of time to arrive, but to no avail. So I contacted customer service and they said they would re-ship the items. But the card I initially used is no longer in use, and they need to "charge and then credit" my card before they ship out my stuff again. Only you can't change your credit card info online, no that would be too easy. I have to call customer service to do this. Only f*cking problem is I can never get through and am always put on hold indefinitely. F*ck you deepdiscount. F*ck. You.
