If you look at the link below you will find an English language version of the of Stink Bomb (fandub). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u1GvKJp1wew

This is the original outline of the three films from myanimelist.net

Quote:
From Katsuhiro Otomo, acclaimed creator of Akira, comes an animated masterpiece; three short stories all put together as a series of Memories. Part one is titled Magnetic Rose, a science fiction tale that tells a chilling story of love, loss, and the unwillingness to forget. Part two is titled Stink Bomb - a tongue-in-cheek story of a chemical researcher who is just looking for a way to get rid of his cold... so why is everybody around him dying? Story three is titled Cannon fodder, and is an introspective tale about modern wars and simply following orders. Music conducted by Yoko Kanno, Jun Miyake, Hiroyuki Nagashima, and Takkyu Ishino.

This is also a link to Magnetic Rose English Language fan dub, part of the series: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dh6b5ALyPaY

The English Language fan dub version of Cannon Fodder will be uploaded soon: http://www.youtube.com/user/znexus?feature=watch

I think they are all done quite well and professionally dubbed, you cab be the judge?

I play a very small part of a Doctor at the beginning in the StinkBomb English Fan Dub and also a special forces soldier later on, I really enjoyed the roles because the story is so well done. Loved all three of the short films.

I'll just add I have nothing to do with the producer apart from having two minor parts in one of the films but I just thought I would share these links so that someone out there may get as much enjoyment out of the films as I did. Classic!!

Enjoy and comment on what you think about these English language versions??? - Good or bad!

Just for future reference, it's generally frowned upon by the community when people join and their first act is to advertise personal endeavors like clubs, Youtube channels, and other side-projects that, otherwise, try to take attention away from ANN.

To me, this sorta' screams, "hey, come look at our stuff!" and that's it. If you wanna' make an effort at a more serious thread, you could edit the opening post and ask for constructive feedback or something. But as a word of advice, please don't use the ANN forums just to advertise. We get enough of these kinds of users every month as it is.

Thanks, and good luck.

Thanks for the heads up. I have amended the text slightly hopefully it is better. I just thought that this may be of interest to some of your members because as far as I knew I didn't see an English language version of this set of short films. Maybe there are versions of them but I didn't see them and as I now mention above apart from a very minor role in one of the fandubs, I don't know the producer and no one on the project has any personal gain from it. I believe the only reason a fandub was made of these three short films was to show an appreciation and love of these films and I can see why, they are true classic and original stories.

Sorry if it seemed I was self promoting but I am in one of them (very minor role), if you stop listening to the the audio for a few seconds, you would miss my roles in them.
