I heard in Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine, issue 163, page 58 that an Inu-Yasha game is coming to PS1 in March from Bandai to USA, is this true? (Any picture's from this game or information is very much appreciated). Very Happy

Do they have game's for Inu-Yasha in Japan?, if yes for what system's? And what types are they?.

How many episodes are out in Japan?.

How many episodes do they plan to make/publish (USA & JAPAN)?.

How many Manga's do they plan to make/publish (USA & JAPAN)?.

When is the next Inu-Yasha Manga coming out (USA & JAPAN)?. 8)

Does anyone know when Inu-Yasha's coming back to air on TV? (USA/After Feb 10th).

I heard they plan to make Inu-Yasha merchandise in USA, is this true?. Shocked

Sorry, I don't know all the answers:

I believe there was a game out, but I'm not sure of the system. I doubt it'd ever be released here.

As long as it goes Laughing I don't believe they have a set number. Chances are after the manga ends they'll plan out the last episodes and end it on an even number.

How many Manga's do they plan to make/publish (USA & JAPAN)?.

Again, this has no set number. Takahashi will continue to make the manga for as long as she chooses. Ranma 1/2 ran for over 30 graphic novels, so who knows how long Inu-Yasha will be.

When is the next Inu-Yasha Manga coming out (USA & JAPAN)?.

As I mentioned, the manga is currently being released by Takahashi Rumiko(or Rumiko Takahashi, depending on how you say it). It comes out in monthly installments in the US, from Viz. If your local comic shop carries manga they should have it, or they can order it for you. There are several graphic novels already out for you to catch up. Visit www.viz.com for more info.

Whenever they get enough episodes dubbed and edited for a decent run. Someone like Zac should be able to make a fairly accurate estimate.

Probably. They'll most likely come out with an art book, since Viz did that with Ranma and Ceres. You can always get imported merchandise online or at conventions. They have books, plushies, stationary, pencil boards, doujinshi...tons of stuff.

Hope that helps Wink

I can answer the game question (I've pretty much given up on trying to guess the the anime and manga numbers at this point)

Yes, in Japan there is a PSOne fighting game by the name of Inu Yasha: Sengoku Battle. You can find all the info on it and pics at Magic Box: http://mb.vgdirectory.com/game111202d.htm

In March Bandai will be releasing the game in the US under the simple name Inu Yasha. No word on a price or any changes yet, but I'm going to guess it'll be about $20 like their last two anime based PSOne games Gundam Battle Assult 2 and Digimon World 3.

Bandai games are highly underrated and should not be missed.

Oh really? I didn't think they'd be releasing the game. I'll have to check it out. It'll be worth a rental at least. Now I have a use for my Blockbuster gift card Smile

Nope! Very Happy

{from Magic Box}
"- Bandai is planning to release the PSone fighting game Inu Yasha: Sengoku Otogi Gassen in US in March, the US version will simply named Inu Yasha, based on Rumiko Takahashi's hit anime of the same name."

Okay, now I have a couple of questions. And this thread was already here, so...
Rolling Eyes

1) What is the relationship between Onigumo, Lord Kagewaki, and Naraku?

I take it from context that Onigumo is the human being that Naraku used to be, and that Naraku is the half-demon/almost demon that he became when the demons gave him the power he was seeking. But if that's the case, who is Lord Kagewaki? Just an alias?

2) How can Miroku run that fast? *_*

(SPOILER, so keep in a wrapped up and in the back of the ice box. Razz)

Onigumo was once human, but didn't like Inu Yasha for being so close to Kikyo, so he ask the area demons to use his body to get Kikyo to hate Inu Yasha. Lord Kagewaki and Naraku is the same guy, but Lord Kagewaki is the Naraku's human form.

Right, just to fool the humans, but he is really (More of that darn Spoiler) half Demon, Half Human, much like Inu Yasha, and that plays a major part later in the series.

In Rumiko's series, the most preverted characters (Ataru, Happosai, Miroku) has the uncanny ability to run faster then human speed. Okay, I was kidding about that part, but it must be becasue of his training.

Miroku attributes many of his abilities to his training. One example fo this is when they are about to attack Naraku and his castle is surrounded by the mist stuff, i cant remember the name, and Miroku says "I wouldn't have been able to handle this if it werent for my training." or something along those lines

On the training deal, it was inside the mountain when they were following the mist where the demons were fighting for the winner to become Naraku's new body etc...

So he is just super human Smile
