Oooo, a combination of the old and new aesthetic. Man, this could have been a pretty nifty TV series.

I really liked that 5 minute one in particular, especially with Mamiko Noto's unnerving as always voice over to add to the surrealism. People think Akiyuki Shinbo is the most visually abstract and director out there at the moment but I want to see this guy do a full 1 cour anime series or 1 hour film or something.

I'd like to see a full TV series tbh.

Really interesting approach, considering the actual technology for the device is interesting as well.
The style of the recent one is also a mix of 70s and 80s anime, it really stands out, at least for me.
