At least Heroes of Cosplay was on a channel that likely more people know about.

At least it looks like it has more structure than Heroes.

I never knew I had this channel!
I'm glad I seen this! I'm watching K-pop music videos right now.

I haven't watched the series yet, but my Husband and I both have watched Heroes of Cosplay and we agree that it doesn't come off good. I'm hoping this series will bring a better side to it. Possibly show more people than just the few who are the "stars".

So I found I had this on my Crunchyroll, it goes back and forth from terrible to boring, Definite Pass. The only good bits were the cosplays but you can see those in photos or YouTube compilations. Bad Lighting, *shudders*.

EDIT(original post)----It looks like the channel is only a West Coast/East Coast thing. That's too bad because I have liked to compare the two shows and see efforts from both groups.-----

^It's also on Crunchyroll

I just watched the first episode, and this is massively better than HoC already. I was worried when I saw that "wow factor" was one of their judging criteria, until they explained that it was acting in-character and such, basically making the judge fangirl them, not having a "gimmick", which is what HoC defines it as. The participants also made it quite clear that cosplay is about having fun and getting to be your favorite characters, not just finding what shows your boobs off best.
