Wow what happened, It is shorter than I thought it would be. I guess sales never really took off?

Did she? From what I can remember, there weren't any illustrations in the novels themselves, just on the covers. And the art from the novel covers look nothing like Kino's art . . .

That does seem short, hope it's where the manga-ka wanted to end it. Read the first few chapters of the manga and rather liked it so I hope someone licenses it over here at some point.

Well that fell short of my expectations. I quite enjoyed the idea of the series when I looked into it a while back and hoped to see it take off into something big. It had potential, but it seems it was shot down while it was still pretty young. That's too bad.
