Great news! Kinda expected but glad to see it. This has some solid staff too, highly looking forward to it for Summer.

I've got a feeling that Hollywood's going to do a remake of this sooner or later. I also have a feeling a lot of people think it should be later than sooner.

I didn't expect this but good news I'll be interested in seeing who the Seiyuu for the characters will be.

This is a great drama series and might be the first anime I'll watch where I've read the entire manga first. The sci-fi elements are a little haphazard. They're more or less tacked on for convenience (time travel) and you could just as easily replace them with "magic". What I'm saying is, if you're going into this expecting sci-fi like ERASED's time travel, you'll be disappointed.
If you want a great emotional drama that deals with depression in a mature manner though, this is a great manga.

I just started reading this and seems to a really good storyline. It doesn't surprise me that they are doing this.

Hah, same here! I tend to not read a ton of manga, or LNs, but the ones that I do read are usually things that I doubt will ever get an anime adaptation or are pretty short. This one just happened to be both and it was on Crunchyroll, so it worked out perfectly. Looking forward to this a lot. It was a great story and I could easily see them being able to fit the entire story into a single cour fairly easily.

Nice Very Happy ! I was excepting this since the live-action got pretty good ratings and the staff chosen for this adaption are great as well. I can't wait to see what cast they choose for this anime and for the premiere this summer Anime smile

I'm happy to see all of this staff in action again. Should be great, even though I haven't read this manga nor am I planning to do so, but I will still watch this anime once it airs.

Better such stories exist but the manga was competent enough to finish and got pretty popular for what it is. I wonder if they will give the anime a proper epilogue. Oh well.
The way the dimension / time slip works, that lets the notes through, was never explained, so i will agree with MU´s supernatural genre and not ANN´s Sci-Fi moniker.
