Wow. . . . what a true Disney style wedding! The carriage and procession remind of Cinderella and yet the wedding outfits somehow remind me of The Little Mermaid. It's a nice mixture I think. Still. . . . so pretty and magical! I wish the two of them all the love and luck in the world for their new married future! Very Happy

Tokyo Disneyland hosted Japan's first gay wedding in 2013 as well. Here's the happy couple hanging out with Mickey and Minnie:



Of course this "wedding" conferred no legal benefits. So it was no surprise that these same ladies were at the front of the line when Shibuya began issuing certificates to same-sex couples. Again these certificates have no legal weight, but the couples involved saw the decision to issue the certificates as a step forward in legitimating homosexual couples in Japan.
