Works out better than expected, but to be honest, 2D Chi worked pretty well despite the limited budget and still looked better. I'll be watching this, but I would've preferred another season of Chi in hand-drawn 2D.

I find it cute that Hidaka Noriko went from being Yohei's mother to Chi's mother. So she's not quite new to the series.

The 'flat' nature of Chi that was pretty charming in the 2D anime doesn't really translate well to 3D  May need more details to make it feel a bit less lifeless.
