I am so psyched for this. Gorgeous artwork and a story I love.

This is a really strange and unexpected move. So it'll be in Viz's Weekly Shonen Jump?

I believe so. I honestly thought that was kinda strange myself until I just remembered that the RWBY manga runs on Shueisha's Ultra Jump magazine in Japan. It certainly wouldn't be the first time Viz Media added a a non-Weekly Shonen Jump title to their magazine line-up, though they've mostly been from Monthly Jump Square.

Very cool. I love Miwa's artwork. Hopefully a print release isn't too far behind.

Oh yes, very nice! The Viz Jump could benefit from some magical girl inclusion and I've never seen the RWBY web animation...

Hmm, while some people do have "powers", magical girl isn't really an accurate genre description. It's more action/adventure/comedy starring female leads (but also featuring plenty of boys) with crazy weapons training to be monster-slayers at a totally-not-anime-Hogwarts combat school.
The show's original trailers (they're called "trailers" but are more like introductory shorts) are pretty sweet though, which the bulk of the manga are "expanded adaptations" of. Maybe check them out to see if the show is up your alley.

Oh, I see. I might have to check that out...
...Either way, it's always good to hear i'm getting more bang for my buck (literally still £1 an issue!) from the Jump! Still one of the best anthologies on the market!

That was it??? That was it for the panel?
I guess missing it was so bad after all. I've been searching for stuff but seems that's it. I was hoping they would have some DVD releases this run. When are we getting OPM on DVD?

I can't wait for the RWBY anime vs RWBY "not anime" (which is anime to begin with) argument. And I'll be sitting around laughing at a lot of people.
