The first episode was really good, but does anyone know why it looked like DVD quality on CrunchyRoll? Is that just an aesthetic choice, or did CR goof up something? Regardless I’m loving the animation.

Going with comments I have seen on the MyAnimeList thread discussion for the 1st epi., I think it was an aesthetic choice to resemble an early 2000s anime.

I'm weirdly reminded of Red Line after watching Megalobox. Maybe it's because of the competition aspect. Anime catgrin
