"Human" qualities are usually considered positive, rational, civilized, etc. while animal qualities are negative, impulsive, chaotic, etc. The Beast's form reflected his nature, an immature and impulsive monster. The Beauty is supposed to tame him. |

That is a false dichotomy, humans are animals (with bigger brains, but not bigger hearts).
It can be that the beast is an M, but I do not see Belle as an S, unless she is a deresadi. |
