As I understand the rules, the primary title of an anime should be that under which it is released in majority English-speaking countries, if such a title exists.
The English title of Mirai no Mirai is, at least for now, just Mirai according to its English-language Facebook and Twitter (both run by its international sales agent, Charades), its USA distributor and its UK and Ireland distributor. Therefore Mirai should be the primary title. "Mirai of the Future" is a translation of Mirai no Mirai, therefore it should be an alternate title. |
